Installation Guide

Follow these steps to sideload Trident Secure onto your Android device.

1

Enable Unknown Sources

On your Android device go to Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps and enable installation for your file manager or browser.

2

Download the APK

Tap the Download button above or transfer the APK file to your device via USB. The file is named vector-gplay-arm64-v8a-debug.apk.

3

Open and Install

Open the APK file from your file manager. Tap Install when prompted. Android may show a security warning — this is expected for sideloaded apps.

4

Launch Trident Secure

Open the app. The server address is pre-configured. You will be taken directly to the sign-in screen.

5

Sign In with Your Credentials

Use the username and password provided by your organisation's administrator. If you do not have credentials, contact your admin to request an invite.

6

Accept the Certificate (if prompted)

The app includes a bundled SSL certificate for the demo server. If a trust dialog appears, accept it to continue.
